San Diego-based genomics firm Human Longevity Inc. recently entered a 10-year deal with AstraZeneca to sequence and analyze up to 500,000 DNA samples from AstraZeneca clinical trials.
The genetic information will be added to the HLI Knowledgebase, a database of tens of thousands of samples that can be used by medical researchers to discover biomarkers for disease and streamline drug development.
