Upholding the ban on the ban: victory for the rule of law
Notwithstanding last week's decision, there will still be chaos at our borders and ports of entry. The poor folks at the Department of Homeland Security may not know exactly what is going on with all this judicial wrangling. By James M. Cooper

In last week's ruling on President Donald J. Trump's executive order banning entry into the United States of citizens from seven predominantly Muslim countries, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals demonstrated the strength of the U.S. Constitution and the importance of the separation of powers. While many liberals are taking a victory lap, the real winner is the rule of law.
