Drugs Redux

We stand today at the threshold of a new attitude and approach to the issue of illegal drugs in American society. The change is embryonic, incremental and subtle. But it marks the earliest beginnings of what may later be seen as a paradigm shift in public attitude and criminal justice response to the increasingly pervasive possession and use of illegal substances for everything from pain relief to recreation.
