Allegation of Intent Isn't Automatic Bar to Coverage

When insureds seek coverage for such lawsuits, carriers often respond by saying that their policies contain an exclusion applicable to intentional conduct or to "expected or intended" damage, and that Insurance Code Section 533 bars coverage.
