Meth Users Win Favor in Two Courts Of Appeal

SAN FRANCISCO - Drivers under the influence of drugs found friends in high places Wednesday. At the 1st District Court of Appeal, a three-judge panel ruled that an arrest of a motorist for DUI and possession of drugs does not automatically provide probable cause to search the suspect's home for drugs.
