Scholarship Connects Lawyer, Student

Shanna Bradford is a success story from one of the Bay Area's poorest neighborhoods. Last year, she won a $5,000-a-year law school scholarship from the Bar Association of San Francisco based on her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. This year, the scholarship's benefactor, San Francisco attorney Richard Zitrin, was so pleased with her progress at the University of San Francisco School of Law that he upped the award to $10,000.
