Prop. 34 Moots Battle Over Earlier Campaign Law

SACRAMENTO - A federal judge breathed a sigh of relief Wednesday as attorneys challenging the constitutionality of a 1996 campaign reform initiative said they are ready to dismantle the litigation now that the measure has been replaced with a less strict law.
