Policing Policies

Although California's False Claims Act (Gov't. Code Sections 12650 et. seq.) was enacted 13 years ago, there is but one appellate court decision which applies the statute. Southern California Rapid Transit Dist. v. Superior Court, 30 Cal.App.4th 713 (1994). However, this lack of appellate court attention should not be viewed as an indication that this statute is moribund.
