Legal Experts Dispute Effect of Officers' Amnesia in Testimony

Police officers who exhibit symptoms of amnesia while testifying about the actions of their brothers and sisters in blue may think they are helping their colleagues. Their evasiveness could backfire, however, and convince jurors that cops are not credible. And that, legal experts say, could lead to the exact result they are trying to stave off: convictions.
