A U.S. judge gutted a child pornography case that revealed some Best Buy employees worked as government informants after he concluded key evidence was gained in part through false statements by an FBI agent.
But he said the Geek Squad did nothing illegal by reporting to law enforcement any criminal content the technicians believed they had found on the defendant's computer.
