JLL: Law firms could see tenant-friendly market soon

JLL recently released its annual law firm report, which said given current office market dynamics, law firms could expect their leverage in lease negotiations to increase in the next year or two.

Real estate for the legal industry has hit somewhat of a pause, said a JLL broker.

"I think we have shifted rather quickly into a rather interesting, neutral spot that could go either way in the next six to 12 months," said Misty Moore, a senior vice president who specializes in tenant representation and law firms. "I don't know what's going to come out of it. We're seeing a bit of a pause."
