In rare move, SEC rescinds insider trading case

Former Goldman banker Matthew Korenberg had been under investigation since 2009. The case had been given prosecutorial authorization by the agency's commissioners but had not yet been officially filed, according to lawyer John C. Hueston.

In a rare occurrence, the Securities and Exchange Commission rescinded an insider trading case against a former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. banker Tuesday.
