Judicial Council approves county e-filing requirements

The state Judicial Council Friday approved a plan to allow county courts to require electronic filing in civil cases and implemented several structural changes to the branch administration's legal services office.

SAN FRANCISCO - The state Judicial Council Friday approved a plan to allow county courts to require electronic filing in civil cases and also implemented several structural changes to the branch administration's legal services office, which came under fire last year for mismanaging its employees and giving legal advice to courts that was influenced by branch politics.
