Class counsel gets one-third of $90 million potash settlement
A U.S. District Court judge ordered Wednesday that one-third of the recent $90 million settlement in a four-year-long case involving allegations of potash price fixing by international sellers be paid as class counsel attorneys fees.

A federal judge on Wednesday ordered one-third of the recent $90 million settlement in an international potash price-fixing case be paid to class counsel.
Pearson, Simon & Warshaw LLP and Lockridge Grindal Nauen PLLP were co-lead counsel for the plaintiffs - U.S. companies that purchase potassium-rich chemical and mineral salts used in fertilizers and other products.
