Court Decides Some Spam Is Not Spam

A popular trick used by businesses to get their email advertisements past spam filters is not illegal, the California Supreme Court ruled Monday.

A popular trick used by businesses to get their e-mail advertisements past spam filters is not illegal, the California Supreme Court ruled Monday.

The unanimous decision makes it more difficult for consumers to pursue lawsuits under the state anti-spam law.
