Sexy Text Search Didn't Violate 4th Amendment
In a unanimous vote, the U.S. Supreme Court held Thursday that the City of Ontario did not violate the Fourth Amendment rights of one of its police officers when it sought access to text messages sent on an employer-owned pager.

WASHINGTON - In a unanimous vote, the U.S. Supreme Court held Thursday that the City of Ontario did not violate the Fourth Amendment rights of one of its police officers when it sought access to text messages sent on an employer-owned pager.
In doing so, the court reversed the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the fourth time in an argued case this term.
