9th Circuit to Hear Frozen Embryo Case

      SAN FRANCISCO - The plaintiff, a frozen human embryo named Mary Scott Doe, represents another challenge to stem-cell research in California.
      On Thursday, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals added Doe's case to its oral argument calendar for Oct. 16. The matter will be heard in Pasadena. Doe v. Klein, 06-55387.
