Katten Muchin: ACQUISITION OF LOS ANGELES TIMES SHAKES OUT IN-HOUSE DEPARTMENT
The former intellectual property director of Los Angeles' Times Mirror Co. has joined Katten Muchin Zavis, also in Los Angeles. Katherine McDaniel, who made the move on Sept. 1, will continue to practice intellectual property and trademark law as counsel to Katten Muchin's IP practice group. She says she is wrapping up a few loose ends at Times Mirror but looks forward to getting back into the swing of law firm life.
