$250 million ‘Simpsons' suit may have come too late

A suit by a veteran character actor for misappropriation against Fox may have run afoul of statute of limitations rules.

A lawsuit filed Tuesday claiming $250 million in damages against Fox Television Studios Inc. for "The Simpsons" misappropriating the likeness of a gangster character actor may go nowhere fast, entertainment lawyers said.
