Prosecutors Win Mortgage Fraud Case

After a three-week trial, a federal jury in San Francisco convicted a woman on 12 counts relating to mortgage fraud Tuesday afternoon.

SAN FRANCISCO - A federal jury convicted a woman on 12 counts relating to mortgage fraud Tuesday afternoon, after a three-week trial in which prosecutors presented evidence that the defendant, Judy Yeung, defrauded lenders, including Washington Mutual, out of $6.5 million in loans.
