Lawyers on Their Screen Counterparts: Movies That Resonate With the Bar

It's no secret that Hollywood's take on the courtroom has been accused of giving the legal profession a bad rap. Attorneys say lawyer-centered flicks often give the public an unrealistic perception of what really happens when lawsuits get filed, defendants are charged, juries deliberate and judges rule. Far-reaching as the movies may be, lawyers tend to favor titles they watch over and over, marveling at the seemingly effortless legal feats on the big screen.
