In recent years, college athletes have sued the National Collegiate Athletic Association and Electronic Arts over the use of their images and likenesses in EA video games. EA entered into licensing contracts with the NCAA to produce the successful video games "NCAA Football," "NCAA Basketball" and "NCAA March Madness." Athletes claimed these games infringed on their individual rights to publicity. These suits are just part of a multi-front battle the NCAA is currently facing.
