In Amgen Inc. v. Harris, 2016 DJDAR 796, decided Jan. 25, the U.S. Supreme Court reaffirmed its 2014 holding that high pleading standards with teeth attach to company stock actions. The court issued a rare summary disposition, reversing without full briefing or oral argument a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision that declined to apply Fifth Third Bancorp. v. Dudenhoeffer, 134 S. Ct. 2459 (2014).
