Jury Finds Bad Faith By Insurer, Awards $6 Million to Victims

Proof discrimination was intended isn't needed, court says.

SANTA ANA - It only took a federal jury about an hour and a half of deliberations to decide that an insurance company should pay $6 million to a Laguna Beach couple for evading claims over shoddy construction of a new waterfront home.
