SAN FRANCISCO - Some good news for a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals battered by lawyers' gripes about slow, rude judges came in December, when the U.S. Senate unanimously confirmed three new trial judges.
The fresh faces on a court plagued by an overloaded docket will help ease one chief complaint by federal practitioners: tardy decision-making.
