One reading the letter proposing abolition of jury trials for "petty" misdemeanor offenses and non-unanimous jury verdicts penned by Richard Chrystie ought to know the bias Mr. Chrystie brings with his reasoned opinion. ("Alter Jury Trials to Improve Court Productivity," Dec. 7)
