Judge OKs Charges in Brocade Case

SAN JOSE - In a victory for the government in the criminal case against two former executives of Brocade Communications Systems Inc. for backdating stock options, a federal judge rejected motions to dismiss seven of the 12 counts on the grounds that prosecutors relied on a faulty legal theory in the indictment.
