Internet Intimidation

The court said that the electronic bulletin board was no different from a wood-and-cork bulletin board.

        Given the rapid advances in technology and the capacity of human beings for invention, it was perhaps inevitable that intimidation by Internet would reach the courts. The Supreme Court of New Jersey considered this issue in Blakey v. Continental Airlines, 751 A.2d 538 (N.J. June 1, 2000).
