Defendant Squirms His Way to Police Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES - A man who admitted to resisting arrest can sue the city of Sacramento for civil rights violations because a police officer mistakenly shot him in the rear end with a pistol rather than with an electric stun gun, a state appellate court has ruled.
