DA's Program Provides Continuity for Victims

LOS ANGELES - Saying that victims of hate crimes whose cases are heard in outlying courts deserve the same focused attention by prosecutors as victims whose cases are assigned downtown, District Attorney Steve Cooley on Thursday announced a new program to expand vertical prosecution of such crimes countywide.
