Students May Have to Pay Attorney Fees After Losing ADA Suit

The Association of American Medical Colleges is trying to make four aspiring medical students pay back $1.7 million in attorney fees after they lost a class action accusing the assocation of not complying with ADA rules.

SAN FRANCISCO - The Association of American Medical Colleges is trying to force four aspiring medical students to pay back $1.7 million in attorney fees after they lost a class action against the association for refusing to accommodate their learning disabilities by giving them extra time to take the Medical College Admission Test.

While the students won at the trial court level, they lost on appeal.
