Costa Mesa won't get June charter vote

The city of Costa Mesa's charter resolution will not appear on June's primary ballot.

The 4th District Court of Appeal, District 3, denied the city of Costa Mesa's request to put its proposed charter resolution on June's primary ballot. The city, which is pursuing a plan to outsource more than 100 workers and outsource their jobs to private contractors, has been pursuing a charter since December.
