Attorneys dodge potential sanctions from California Public Utilities Commission
Attorneys representing Pacific Gas and Electric Co. avoided sanctions from the California Public Utilities Commission Thursday, but the company was fined more than $14 million for failing to correctly disclose issues with gas lines.

Attorneys representing Pacific Gas and Electric Co. avoided sanctions from the California Public Utilities Commission Thursday regarding the utility's failure to comply with the commission's rules regarding the pressurization of a Bay Area gas line. But the commission sanctioned PG&E and fined it $14.35 million for its lack of compliance.
