Law school enrollment continues to drop

The number of people beginning law school in the U.S. has fallen 24 percent since 2010, according to figures released Tuesday by the American Bar Association.

The number of people beginning law school in the U.S. has fallen 24 percent since 2010, according to figures released Tuesday by the American Bar Association. New student enrollment is down 11 percent this year alone compared to last, the ABA found.

Just 39,675 students started law school this fall, compared to 44,481 last year and 52,488 in the peak year of 2010.
