Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday appointed two to the California Commission on Access to Justice, a 25-member body comprised of legal professionals, judges and others tasked with identifying how to improve poorer Californians' access to the state's civil justice system.
Brown appointed Stanislaus County Superior Court Judge Ricardo Cordova, 59, and 1st District Court of Appeal Justice Maria Rivera, 64, to the commission.
