Defenders, law school advocates help inmates reassess cases in wake of Prop. 36

After the measure, as many as 4,000 inmates became possibly eligible for a recall of their life sentences, resentencing and release. They need lawyers' help assessing their cases and petitioning courts for resentencing, among other things.
