Tax attorney pleads guilty to failing to file tax returns

A San Francisco-based tax attorney pleaded guilty to failing to file income tax returns for more than $1.3 million in earnings, the U.S. attorney's office said Friday.


James P. Kleier, who focuses on federal and state tax issues, was charged in May with failing to report income he earned from 2008 through 2010.
