Ronald George to Lead National Group

SAN FRANCISCO - Chief Justice Ronald M. George - will take office today as president-elect of the Conference of Chief Justices at the group's annual meeting in Maine. He will simultaneously become chairman elect of the board of directors of the National Center for State Courts, a nonprofit organization that promotes justice through leadership and service to state courts and which serves as staff to the CCJ.
