In his March 11 Forum piece, "Unpopular Justice," R. Konrad Moore's suggestion - based solely on the number of affirmances in capital cases - that our Supreme Court justices decide cases based on political expediency or job security does not survive any thoughtful analysis. Indeed, the article itself failed to identify a single decision issued by our Supreme Court that does not pass legal or constitutional muster.
