Appellate opinion on Fox interns' suit could prohibit future similar class actions

The "Black Swan" case was a daring challenge to the growing popularity of unpaid internships, and spawned dozens of similar actions. But after a decisive appellate ruling Thursday that reversed a lower court and found in favor of Fox Searchlight Pictures Inc., attorneys say for-profit employers are likely to be free of similar class actions in the future.
