CEQA exemptions are pared down in finalized state budget

A Brown administration proposal to exempt drought-related projects from environmental review was narrowed during budget negotiations and will apply to pipelines and related infrastructure to expand recycled water use.

bedrock environmental law has been pared down in the final budget he signed into law
