Group Eases Life on the Streets

Brian Toutant remembers being repulsed when driving by homeless people holding signs such as "Will Work for Food," and "Homeless Veteran." The 36-year-old, an Army veteran himself, was thankful that he had a steady job and an upscale home as he watched the homeless panhandle in their tattered, stained clothing and matted hair.
