Gov. Jerry Brown has quietly tapped three judges and seven lawyers to sit on a committee that advises him on judicial appointments in California's second most populous county, San Diego.
The committee, comprised of criminal and civil lawyers from both the defense and plaintiffs' bar, will play an influential role in selecting candidates for the Superior Court.
