Bullying bill poses liability risk to schools

Following a rash of bullying-related student suicides and a recent high-profile murder trial, schools are struggling to figure out how much responsibility they carry for preventing harassment of gay, lesbian and transgender students.

After 15-year-old Larry King was shot in the back of the head, the sole defendant on trial was the classmate accused of murdering him for being gay.
