9th Circuit upholds DNA collection law

An en banc panel says police can collect cheek swabs from felony suspects.

California law enforcement can continue to obtain, store and analyze the DNA of anyone arrested for a felony, a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday.
