Claws come out in argument over $5.4 million arbitration award

Lawyers for two former employees of Masimo Corp. tore into the company's attempt to vacate the award due to a sibling relationship.

Lawyers for two former sales workers shot back late Monday in a dispute over whether a $5.4 million arbitration award should be voided because the arbitrator failed to disclose a family connection to defendant Masimo Corp.


In a brief full of harsh words, the plaintiffs' attorney, Kathryn B. Dickson of Dickson Geesman LLP in Oakland, tore into Masimo's arguments.
