The Court of Appeal in In re Marriage of Finby, 222 Cal. App. 4th 977 (2013), reversed a trial court's finding that the former husband held no interest in bonuses received by his wife as an inducement to bring her client list, or "book of business," to a new investment firm, after finding that the bonuses offered to the wife were based on a book of business she developed during the marriage.
