This Justice Official Denies Crossing Line in Hiring
The former head of the Justice Department’s civil rights division admitted to Congress Tuesday that he boasted to colleagues about helping to hire conservatives to fill nonpolitical career positions. But in testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Bradley J. Schlozman denied asking inappropriate questions of interviewees and insisted that he did not break any laws or rules concerning the hiring of career employees.
