Professor Erwin Chemerinsky, in the course of criticizing the U.S. Supreme Court's 5-4 decision in Gonzales v. Carhart, which upheld a federal ban on partial-birth abortion ("Judges Know Best," May 15) let go this volley of putrefaction (which the Daily Journal highlighted): The decision rests on nothing more than the "view of five aging male justices - all Catholic."
