Fancy Footwork Won't Help Quackenbush Avoid Liability

Forum: Spin Report By John M. Curtis Showing some pretty fancy footwork, Insurance Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush denied knowing how Northridge earthquake fines were spent to subsidize his own controversial non profit foundations. In a bizarre twist, he remarked, "Some may come here today angry or resentful. I have not, I am not. Mortified might be more the word," he said, showing some contrition before the Assembly Insurance Committee.
